Connor in Cabo

Jim and I had a wonderful vacation in Cabo San Lucas! Cabo is located at the very southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula on the Pacific side of Mexico. It was absolutely beautiful and very rejuvenating. There is something very healing to be by the sea and listen to the waves come in. Not to mention that it was the perfect temperature and sunny everyday. And of course, we took Connor with us; he is with us no matter where we go and so we tried to honor him.

Jim took this just in time. It's Connor's name at Lover's Beach. The only way to get to this beach is by boat so we kayaked there.

We visited Cabo Pulmo National Park on the East Cape of the Baja Peninsula by the Sea of Cortez. This was a very quiet and peaceful area with lots of awesome snorkeling.

Jim and I layed out on the beach by our resort in a beautiful cabana.

  2. from the first time you mentioned the names in the sand website, i thought, "that's neat." it wasn't until i saw xavier's name in the sand that i understood what it meant to a babylost parent...

i remember being able to share milestone pictures of michael and andi with co-workers, family, church...but i haven't been able to share much of xavier because i don't show his pictures to everyone and there are no new milestones for him.

when i saw his name in the sand i was able to share the picture. my heart just burst with joy that i had a picture to show people and something to share..."it's been eight months and here's this picture that this lady in australia took for me."

i took xavier's picture in the snow the other day, along with miah and connor's (hope you don't mind) and it felt good to be able to take pictures of his name - especially with michael and andi.

i just wanted you to know that i have a better understanding of taking pictures of connor's name when you travel...i'm so glad to know you guys; just so sorry it had to be under these circumstances.

hope to see you at parents sharing hope this month.
