Godspeed

It's been pretty up and down lately. Sometimes I miss Connor so much that my heart keeps breaking. It's amazing how many times that can happen, but I still pick up the pieces and learn to live with the pain. I miss his beautiful face with his cute button nose and his big feet. He is such a beautiful boy!

I was listening to my playlist while at work and the song "Godspeed" by Dixie Chicks came on. It's a beautiful lullaby written for her son and it reminds me of Connor and how I want him to be safe and healthy and whole. It made me cry. It's a sweet song and one I hope to sing to him one day.
