This is Joel and Marlea. Marlea is a wonderful friend of mine and this is her son. He and Connor were born on the same day. Marlea and I believe that they know each other and are connected in a special way. Jim and I visited Marlea and Mark last weekend. We were all pretty anxious about it. It was the first time we have seen each other since we were pregnant with our boys. It was a wonderful weekend. It was great to spend time together catching up, laughing, eating...and mourning.
Joel was wonderful. He was sweet and happy and loved to cuddle with me. he let me hold him all the time and we played together. It felt like I had my baby back for a weekend. Like Joel was comforting me because he knows how much I miss Connor.
We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends who have given us the space and time to do what we need to do to grieve. And then to always be available for a hug, a cup of tea or a good cry. Thank you. It reminds me how loved we are and how many people really love Connor. I believe this will definitely help us get through the holidays...and Connor's birthday. I can't believe he is almost one. I have learned alot from our little man and I love him so much!
Im so glad that you have a friend like that. Its so comforting to know that they will always be there no matter what. I am so thankful for my closest gal pal. She took the news of Bryston passing almost as hard as I did. It sounds like you had a great visit together and it was somewhat healing! *HUGS*

it was wonderful to have you and jim the other weekend! i've missed you and i'm so glad we had the chance to catch up and cry together. and i finally got to give you a hug. you are in our thoughts and prayers as christmas and connor's one year birthday approach. we love you guys!
