It's hard to believe that Mason is already over 7 months old and Connor would be 2 1/2. The past number of years have been filled with many ups and downs. We decided to take our first family vacation this summer in Northern Michigan and it was really great to get away and enjoy being together. And of course, we could not forget Connor!
This was taken at the beach at Traverse City, Michigan. The weather was great and Mason even got to get his feet in the sand for the very first time.
We also spent some time at Mackinac Island. It was so refreshing to be away and to go on vacation with our little guy. We missed Connor and wondered what it would be like having both boys with us. We are so thankful for our boys and love them so much!

It's beautiful there!! I haven't seen it in sooo many years. I know it is bittersweet sharing the experiences with one that you should have gotten to do with another. I think you appreciate it just that much more. Many hugs and fun times.
